How I spend My Days:
Mom & wife, work at Best Buy as a Technical Analyst monitoring servers and applications, training for my MCSE, housework, budget, yadda yadda yadda...

Hobbies and Interests:
A lot of crafts like scrapbooking, geneaology, and especially decorative painting which I learned in Japan. Wrestling w/ my boys. True to being a techie geek at heart (if not skill :)), I love Star Trek and Science Fiction/Action movies. Most of all I love reading - the Bible, theology, philosophy, history, science...

Last 20 Years in a Nutshell:
In my early 20's I changed my name to my mom's maiden name (my parents divorced when I was 1 1/2 yrs. old, so I identified more with my mother).

I graduated from the U of M with a degree in French & Italian. For 10 years I searched for the meaning of life through Taoism, Zen, & philosophy (some science too). I lived 5 yrs in Japan teaching English & learning Japanese where I saw what I believed played out in the culture & re-examined my beliefs. I also met & married my husband, Kenji, who's an acupuncturist. We have been back for 6 years & have 2 beautiful boys.

I praise God who's blessed & redeemed my life despite myself! I owe my life to Him who is my Lord and Master. I was SOOoo blind, but He has taken the clouds from my eyes & given a wretch like me love & grace that is beyond my full comprehension (wow, the cliches are so true!)

High School Memories:
Leafblad's Facing Your Future & babysitting eggs. Rabbi & Mr. Dahl - positive influences I would remember later. I felt like a loner for the most part, but Charis Barks and Chi Hum Paik were my closest friends. Ms. Zupfer's (sp?) sense of humor. New computers at Minnehaha & programming them to carry on conversations in French. Randy Lundborg's constant foot in the garbage can and laps around the parking lot :)
